Solar Cooker Chicken Vegetables Recipe

Chicken and Vegetables

Ingredients :

2-3 Potatoes
½ cup Carrots
½ cup Onions
¼ cup Turnips
¼ cup Green beans
Any fresh vegetables
1 pound Chicken pieces
Salt
Pepper

Direction

1) Place cut-up vegetables in bottom of cooking pot. Sprinkle salt and pepper on the vegetables.

2) Rub chicken pieces with salt and pepper. Place chicken pieces, (fat side up) on top of vegetables.

3) Bake about 2 to 2 1/2 hours.

Tips:

You can use any vegetable you like. My family likes their chicken crispy, so first I cook the chicken with little butter and then put it on top of vegetables. I have two solar oven so I put chicken in one and vegetables in other.
